Concept:
Four friends, and artists of different mediums, and one incredible chef, took a trip to the Hazel Hut and produce a gallery show from the inspiration gained. The Hut is located in the North Slocan, between New Denver, BC, and Kaslo, BC. The original intention was to ski tour and include more alpine scenes, but High-Extreme avalanche hazard kept us in the valley bottom, snowing shoeing and reveling in hut life. The show, in turn, was very much a tribute to the Kootenay's old growth forests.
